I’ve been doing some cleaning this week and purging unused computer information of saved pictures. In my quest, I got here throughout these fantastic pictures of Sag Harbor which I saved last April. But, here is the problem, this lovely dwelling has no home, hyperlink, photo or decorating credit. I solely labeled them Sag Harbor when i saved them. I was so taken with this beautiful house I used to be certain I’d never forget where it came from and of course I did forget. So, if any of you acknowledge this dwelling please let me know so I can acknowledge the wonderful architect, designer or photographer. Take a look at this residing room! It has so many fantastic features. First, the over all feel of the room is so comfy. I think the mixture of antiques, accessories and small tables are very attention-grabbing – clearly the people who personal this residence are properly traveled as the mix of found objects seem to come from all over. I am keen on the linen couches – they have a marked Belgian feel. Additionally be aware the French antique chairs and the Swedish model daybed. I like using black in what appears like a very impartial decor. The black tables and iron candlesticks are apparent, but also look on the french doors that are boldly painted black. Additional inspection and we find iron curtain rods, fireplace display and a pie rack used as a room divider.
I can’t really make out what materials the window shades are – is it an antique canvas? or an antique stenciled linen? In any case they’re very unusual. I additionally find the mixture of upholstery out of abnormal, but I like how it all works collectively.
One of my favourite objects in this room is the Trumeau mirror but combined with Chinese language lanterns is very unexpected and a bit edgy. Once more black curtain rods and hooks hold linen drapes and lanterns. Transferring into the kitchen we see black cabinets and slate flooring. Upon closer inspection we see the higher cabinets practically disappear because they’ve been painted white. The marble adds a richness and we see the french door on this room has also been painted black. Clearly this not a historic home – may this have been a renovation?
Here’s a bedroom – I really just like the black beds – will we see a trend right here? Additionally discover the grain sack pillows and what seems like postal sack or flour sack pillows.
Another bedroom- might this be the Grasp Bedroom? Headboard is ticking and actually like how they didn’t do ticking on the bedskirt or pillows. I like ticking but a bit goes a great distance. Grain sack pillows look great and Swedish bench and desk are sweet.
It appears to be like like that is the view out from the residing room. A lovely pool – I adore the solid iron planters.
.

Hopefully we will solve the mystery of Sag Harbor. If anyone recognizes this home or knows its story please do tell us; for now we are going to simply enjoy a job effectively carried out!
